Young investigator award to Christopher Coello

Christopher Coello, postdoctoral fellow at the Preclinical PET/CT Unit, Dept. Of Anatomy, has received a Young Investigator Award during the 9th NeuroReceptor Mapping conference in Baltimore for his work related to the kinetic modeling of opioid receptor PET tracers. The jury highlighted the interest of focusing on methodology related problems in relation with small-animal PET imaging.
The award consisted of a Travel Grant to attend the meeting, and an official award ceremony at the beginning of the conference.
The NeuroReceptor Mapping conference is biennial conference gathering the international experts in the field of in-vivo neuroreceptor imaging, gathering 350 attendees this year.
